COORDINATING DIRECTOR, OFFICE OF EDUCATION QUALITY ASSURANCE, EDUCATION DISTRICT IV
(APAPA, MAINLAND AND SURULERE ZONES)
Mr. Sule Hassan is an astute education practitioner with vast years of teaching and managerial experience in education industry. He had taught in various capacities in Government secondary schools as Physics and Mathematics Teacher with learners making much expected progress in their learning. He also held leadership and management positions that ranged from Year Tutor to Head of Department during his teaching career in schools.
He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria with Bachelor of Science (Geology) in 1985. He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2007 and Master of Education in 2009 respectively from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto and University of Calabar. Mr.Sule Hassan also pursued a course in Data Processing at Debis Computers to enhance his service delivery and in 1991 acquired a Diploma.
On deployment, Mr. Sule Hassan rose through the cadres as he worked at Training and Staff Welfare Section of PPTESCOM Zonal office, Agege from 2004 to 2005, Inspectorate Headquarters in Education Distrct I, Agege from 2005 to 2015. In 2015, he became the Director of Office of Education Quality Assurance in Alimoso Zone II till 2016 when he was appointed as the Assistant Coordinating Director (ACD) for Education District III, Sura-Lagos by the Director-General of OEQA, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo. In 2017, he was Zonal Director for Eti-Osa Zone VIII till 2018 when he was moved to OEQA Education District IV Sabo-Yaba as the Assistant Coordinating Director (ACD).
Mr. Sule, Hassan has attended several workshops and seminars in the course of his service and received some letters of commendations in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of education in Lagos State.
He is a member of Ikeja Elites Lions club (an International Service club) and Nigeria Institute of Training and Development.
He is happily married with children.
